we have a nice coffee maker, a philips senseo but every morning the same thing happens i plan to make two cups of coffee with this fanstastic machine there is not enough water in the reservoir! after two half cups, the machine quits how is this possible? the light flashes what does that mean? it means: water gone. is the water gone? yes
the water is finished what a bummer this morning let put the reservoir back into the machine and you think you can continue making coffee but no, it starts flashing slowly! the water must first be heated press the start button again. what a fuss there must be a smarter way to do this
in the office, the coffee machine is attached to the water supply why don't i have that at home? look, a float... some electronics... a valve, some pipes from the diy store... there you go automatically it starts to fill refills the water as soon as it's at its level, it shuts off automatically
now we can make cups of coffee with no worries the system takes care that the reservoir is always filled listen, it already starts to refill again! oh yeah, something else... if you're afraid it will flood the kitchen because of some error... the electronics take care that the valve is never open for more than 10 seconds, whatever happens even if the float would fail look, i just completely emptied the reservoir after 10 seconds it stops automatically
