hey how's everybody baba ketti has awhole bunch of people gathered over there i love thatso the bulgarian crowd is going to listen to an english class i'm preparinga new class for y'all and i'm going to teach that in bulgaria i haven't spokenmuch of the language lately but for now we'll focus on carrying english which isthe only thing i've ever spoken so far in a way my name is georgi frombulgaria as you probably figured it out and i'm excited to be with you today andtalk to you a little bit about more a little bit more about metabolism my wifeand partner traci and i have been operating up doterra essential oiladvocacy business for over 4 years now and
we have spent countless amount of hoursstudying and using essential oils this presentation was inspired, in fact, bywatching a presentation by dr. tory parker at our doterra essential oil conventionand listening and learning from him and his experience dr. parker is the director ofresearch and development at doterra, and he has a phd in nutritional sciences asmy mother does as well in bulgaria so that's it that has been interestingsubject to research and to just listen to educated people talk about and hiscontagious passion for teaching people about the connection between healthydiets and exercising and living a life free of the early onsets ofdegenerative diseases as well as the
world of the essential oils and how theyplay in the lifestyle of wellness was really curious and really exciting forme to try to start focusing more on i've also spent years researching metabolismand trying to understand how it works and how all the different aspects wouldwork together i have a number of health and wellness key challenges related my severe intolerance to grains and farm foods proteins included in the farmfoods and as well as my personal struggle with multiple sclerosisi received my diagnosis about almost two years ago and so i'm excited to be ableto share spend some time with you and share and share some of my experienceswith metabolism
what is refers to metabolism refers tothe life-sustaining processes that occur in the our body every since every day inevery second every hour one of the most important processes is the production ofcellular energy in the form of adenosine triphosphateadenosine triphosphate called atp is the energy currency of life may be found inthe molecule in every cell of our bodies of living beings for that matter it'sjob is to supply and store the energy the cell with the energy the neededenergy in order for us to exist the energy output of our metabolism can varyin response to a wide variety of lifestyle factors a healthy metabolismallows for adequate energy production
and can increase the feelings of energyand vitality let's look at the next thing key point metabolism is not staticso what are we getting with this key point the double is thing it's notstatic it is not static in response to a variety of different stimuli and otherfactors i'm not really good with this slide changing thing but i appreciatey'all being patient with me )_*^()(_*+ +(_(&)*i*_)*+)*(&*^(*&_)_(+* 9=-90*+)(*_(_(+)*+)+_ )(*+)*(+ alright whatis your life like what would be better we don't know more energy did you eventhink did you imagine what it would it be to just plug yourself in and charge up itwill certainly make things a lot a lot
easier doing them yeah well whatinfluences metabolism unfortunately for us humans it is much more complicatedthan just plugging in there are so many different factors that can plus ourmetabolism that are listed here what are the life that was the lifestyle factorsthat let's talk about lifestyle factors for a second here certain lifestylefactors they can be very powerful and they're conveying a very powerful impacton metabolism and therefore energy levels often when we think about healthylifestyle we think about exercising and the food that we eat we often neglect thingslike sleep and the stress level we go through in several slides from here on i'llstart in going over some of the
important strategies for healthiersleep and stress management and then we can come back to exercising and dietsand little bit later on it doesn't take a scientific study itdoesn't take scientists show that inadequate amounts of sleep will lead tofeeling tired and less energetic throughout the day all of us haveexperienced some point at some point in our lives but i do a whole bunch more ithink than the average person but what's interesting is that research has shownthat inadequate really irregular sleep to kind of live with thatwith our schedules right now i can read too seriously negatively impactedmetabolism some of the blends here shown
include balancebreathe serenity as well as single oils like clary sage dill lavender andsandalwood now they're all can promote feelings of calmness and they cancreate the ideal environment for achieving good night's rest when usedaromatically what does that mean we have the house covered headto toe in diffusers a diffuser is the kind of devicediffuser in bulgaria this is the kind of device you can fillthe tank with water and then put several drops of the oil inside and i'm not sureif you can see that it diffuses it we have diffusers next to our bedswe have diffusers in the living room
this is our blend of essential oils inour office now i always have balance, and cypress, and peppermint, andlemon makes it it's there lemon is also agreat antibacterial oil all as well so i have a whole bunch of oils constantlydiffusing everywhere i go my office in our bedrooms we have two now of thesenext to our beds one next to her son's bed in his room you have to takeadvantage of oils if you have access to oils. thankfully, doterra is spectacular ringsproviding us with wide selection of oils and is providing us with a wide selection of oils to really promote healthy sleep andthen that was not to mention not not anytime anything less than what i justlisted i got to drink my lavender and sleep well key i think there's a becauseit is past midnight here in the united
states two years ago at doterra's national convention we saw international convention we saw a britishscientist i have him his name written down somewhere and i'll post it in ourgroups he give us an hour and a half lecture of sleep and what it does to ushow our life in existence has dramatically changed since the expansionof social media since our information is bombed and bombastic us left, right, and center we we don't we don't sleep we don't sleep the necessary amount ofhours in the calm kind of concentrated sleep that we should be going through onregular basis fact i just started a new app i had to recommend all of you atleast who are using iphones the apps
name is when i was at sleep cycle sleepcycle stands next to our beds at night and what it does it's literallyanalyzing and listening to us sleeping it's telling us how many times we wakeup at night it's telling us literally it's telling us how much snoring we snore the sleep quality the heart rate itmeasures when you wake up we're putting our fingers it's a spectacular appit's not wrong not the cheapest possible thing but it wasn't influenced by thesleep scientists really delving into the amount of rest that we take because if we really think about it our sleep is one third of our lifetime if we don'tget sleep for regular eight-nine hours
a night that it is recommended that we dothen that is a third of the twenty-four hours that we are alive forevery day that's a major chunk of our lives in the horizontal position in oursleep you get the point um these oils that are listed in this slide can alsobe applied topically they can be taken internally those of them that areappropriate to take internally you can place a few drops on a blanket or pillow diffused for thirtyminutes before bedtime or while you're going through your nightly routinereading in bed or wherever it is that you do few drops of lavender in a cup ofhot water pom pom pom pom like tea i just showed you will make that majordifference also apply lavender on the
back of your neck and the bottoms of thefeet as well if you if you don't have the serenity blend which is the blendwith lavender and whole bunch of other stuff that really will really make adifference in your sleep habits also serenity comes in a softgel as wellwhich our son is madly in love with my mother just purchased some your europeanheadquarters are in the united kingdom and your shipping andtransportation center for all of europe is in holland so you're expecting yournext serenity to arrive in six to eight business days from holland to bulgariaher and her best friend are madly in love with serenity and zendocrine andwe'll go in more detail on the bulgarian
site just to make sure that you have theappropriate materials that you need to be able to spend some more time educating yourself appropriately about essentials oils else make sure that yourloved one is also getting the right treatment clary sage and sandalwood aregreat for a relaxing massage before bedtime all these there's greatopportunities and ideas for you to use and to help you sleep more soundly andbetter at night see what else this is a big one for me stress let's talk about stress! stress is what we all go through sooner or later in our lives you knowsometimes it's more intense and often often we go through situations when wedon't even recognize that we are going
through stress. it's being stressed feelingstressed without a doubt will provide lower energy levels it's because ofbecause of the body's response to stress cortisol the so called cortisol iscreated when you are going to stress it is produced by the body in order toprovide you with a short-term solution to addressing that stress level when itremains in your body for prolonged periods of times though cortisol affectsyour metabolism and reduces your energy production let's look at some essentialoils for stress management with stress you have a whole bunch of differentoptions. arborvitae, balance, geranium, past tense, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, they're all useful in grounding your
emotions these oils can really helpreduce your feelings of stress which in turn can help metabolism operate at ahealthy level and providing you with higher level energy level as wellwhen feelings of stress are present you could do what i do in fact what i domore than anything else i think when we purchased our first kid we purchased oneof the insanely honestly expensive kits of essential oils i was tellingtraci my wife have you freaking lost your mind did you wanna do how muchmoney do you want to spend on essential oils i knew quite a bit about essential oilswhen i was growing up y'all know as well bulgaria is one of the leading countriesin the world historically in producing
essential oils with fields of plants andflowers that we end up turning into essential oils but once i said okay so you happywife happy life just say that we bought the oils and i i didn't want any oilswhat do you mean oils, you drink them? what in the world is wrong with youdrinking the oils? so in 8 days we go fast forward and i stubbed my finger andshe applied some oil on my joint and it killed the pain in 24 hours less than 24 hours and then i was like i'm sorry what did you just put on my finger so can you look at it four and a half years later i even havea backpack by doterra and my t-shirts are all about essential oils real men useoils but i am loaded through the roof with oils now
and the reason why i'm loaded throughthe roof with oils is because of a blend in a rollerball called past tensei read the label on it after she put it on my finger and i wanted to know moreabout past tense apparently past tense is a tension blendmeaning it's a blend that controls your stress levels in moments when you'restressed past tense comes to play the next thing i dealt with is addressing an issue that i've had for many years working offices and stressful jobsmigraine headaches and i was buying the tylenols and had advils over the counterfor every single day forever i was taking pills a touch of past tense it's avery heating oil it will set your eyes
on fire if you put it on your eyes but put themback on your temple above your almost above your ears give them fiveminutes in your headache is dead this thing and it's a cheap 10 ml so 185 drops of a blend of an...of the most amazing essential oils you havewintergreen, lavender, peppermint, frankincense, cilantro, marjoram, roman chamomile, rosemary, that's a blend of those oils and i can't out of thehouse without it because once in a while i get into situations when i my headaches returnand i know exactly what i need to do and i'm not really the pushy sales kind of a personregularly but i'll tell you what if you have headaches and i catch you and i give you past tense to your temples that started a
statement that you're not going to think aboutthe oils next time your headache comes you are going to want to know where your past tense is so as far as i was i was so negative about oils when tracifirst want me to buy them and i ended up becoming the probably the biggest essential oil maniac because of a lot of different reasons but past tense was oneof them. apply them onto your temples, at the base of back of your neck,a great one is also a blend of patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver. you can see themall on screen and it can be helpful to use aromatically and use...ingestthose of them there are ok to ingest about 97% of doterra oils can beingested. and while inhaling the bountiful
fragrance make sure to focus on breathing my apple watch has that brief app installed by default on it. ibreathe it five-six times a day trying to go through meditation when i havetime to do it but meditation sometimes i just forget them just too stressed andtoo busy to deal with it and block out ten minutes of my day to meditate. however, breathe is one minute and i don't wait it's on my watch and it has also ithas taught me a little bit better how to focus for one minute and do nothing elsebut breathe that's why the diffuser is so valuable to me because i can literallyshove my nose in front of it and...yes
balance!...and i can take deep breaths of theoils that i'm diffusing what else do we have here? we have arborvitae, we have past tense, we talked about that oh, very important: past tense and balance, those are great oils to defuse when you're having big meetings. historically,we were using wild orange oil. wild orange is, we call it, the happyoil. diffuse wild orange and people are smiling and happy. however, i've changed up alittle that a little bit over the course of the years because balance and pasttense will that will help that will defuse the stress level the people when they'recoming in. rather than making them happy, you know what, it is a business meeting. ineed you to stay focused, and i need you to
work with me, and i need you to leave thestress, hang the stress at the door. i used to train people in hotels, which is whati'm good at, and with the training... i named it "hang your frown at thedoor". so, yes, balance would do that, will help youhang your frown at the door yeah...okay...i'm training on one site i mean ilove the idea will speak in the morning with my time bye europe iscalling you guys have a day time in europe i'm still at night moving on tothe subject as we discussed here are some sample models of essential tips...essential tips for your operation with oils for addressing your stress. youcan diffuse doterra balance in the
office in the morning, you can place it,just like i just showed you, with the diffuser next to me. you make sure thatyou're breathing that. in the afternoon, diffuse oils in the car, especially whenyou're in busy traffic, especially when you're in rush hour. not sure ifthat exists so much in bulgaria yet, maybe in the capital of large cities. varna has four hundred thousand people now but we live in vegas. in vegaswe're at 2.5 million people, in new york we were in, whatever, in ninemillion. so, definitely use oils in the car, i recommend that beyond belief. inour diffuser in the car (and i can't show it to you but in the future i will), in our diffuser in the car we usearborvitae, geranium, patchouli,
sandalwood, or vetiver. if you do notknow what the translation of these names and oils is, you will receive thetranscript in bulgarian. i just finished preparing my first class,so, we will have an airing where i am actually going to present all these names in bulgarian as well. but that definitely, apply past tense to the temples (we've alreadyvisited that part) and just it's important to remember: zone out, becognizant of the moments when you're going through stress levels and you needto address that as soon as it occurs and massages are always massages are alwaysthe best way to go. now, we're going to move on. we've talked about sleeping, we've talkedabout stress levels, we can go back to
the original two points that we've made, and the original two points were exercise and your diet, and theircontribution to the process of metabolism. all right. so, when we talkabout exercise...when we talk about exercise, it is important to understand thatexercise doesn't just burn calories, it actually stimulates metabolic energyexpenditure. studies have shown that extra burning of calories will up to the day even after the exercise will continue promoting healthy metabolism.those calories are fueling energy production by the body's metabolism and excess energy is produced. excess energy is produced by yourmetabolism. following a regular exercise
will also help metabolism using healthyenergy levels produced by the after effect of the exercise. the one reasonthat you feel energized after exercise is precisely that. activity levels, let'slook at activity levels! activity levels... activity levels...they have a profound effect and impact on metabolism. it doesn't (let's make a distinction by the way here), metabolism and when we talk about activity level, we are not referring to exercise activity level is just anybasic amount of activity that you participate in on any given day manypeople walk to work... i walk to work i walk to our office butalso many people work in standstill settings where their jobs are sitting ina desk, performing very little motion.
this is not ideal for maintaining healthy metabolism. due to the lack of activity metabolism can slow down andtherefore, produce less energy. less energy means less desire to do anything.by doing things such as occasionally walking around the office or parkingaway from the office, standing at your desk or taking stairs instead of theelevator, that can give your metabolism a little encouragement throughout the day.be creative, find ways! be creative, find ways, increase your activity level. justremember, while it may sound silly...while it may sound silly to focus on suchlittle things, every action counts,
and they all do add up over the courseof the day in order to maintain healthy metabolism. the next one is so important! in order tosupport mayhem metabolism, a balanced healthy diet is required. it has beensuch a difficult battle of mine through the years. it requires healthymacronutrients that include carbohydrates, fiber, fats, proteins, aswell as vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals to function correctly.macronutrients, super important contents, they provide fuel to provide energy. theysupport healthy digestion and nourish the microbiome: your gut. microbiome isthe gut bacteria that you have. minerals
and vitamins function as co-factors in certain cellular reactions to help create the energy, and otherphytochemicals provide antioxidant protection and help your body to protectitself in other ways. each of these different aspects of metabolism of thediet are important for metabolism. let's talk about micronutrients.for micronutrients, we need to mention that vitamins and minerals are important in the production of energy on cellular level in structures in your cells called themitochondria, which are cellular power plants. micronutrients are eitherused directly by the mitochondria and they turn the micronutrients into energy. that's what the function of the mitochondria is or they're used toactivate enzymes and other molecules
that help produce energy. withoutadequate vitamins and minerals, eventually the molecules and enzymes areexhausted, and metabolic health suffers, it's slowed down, resulting in less energy production overall and reduced energy levels. moderndiets often contain nutrient-poor foods. these are foods that are not feeding you, that means that they do not contain the appropriate amount of vitamins and minerals, making it more difficult for your body to adequatelymetabolize them, and feed your body giving you a lot less energy. phytochemicals are also important in the mitochondria asthey play an essential role in supporting your cellular health protecting againstfree radicals and other damaging molecules within the mitochondria.
so, let's look atlifelong vitality pack. to help you meet these needs, doterra created this lifelong vitalitypack or llv. it's the three core products that i live by daily. alpha crs+, xeo mega, and microplex. these are formulated to provide you with ideallevels of essential nutrients, powerful metabolic health factors for yourhealthy metabolism, resulting in mine and your optimal health, energy and longevity.the components of lifelong vitality are unique. they complement modern dietaryintakes and provide essential nutrients in highly bioavailable forms. this meansthat they're more easily absorbed by the body and utilized by our bodies. andlet's look at them individually. alpha crs+.
alpha crs+ cellular vitality complex is formulated and planed much...a very interesting example of why i shouldnever take my wedding band off ever again. i've never taken it off in 20 years! going back to alphacrs. it's a powerful for polyphenol antioxidant blend. the polyphenolshelp reduce oxidative stress in key cellular structures inthe mitochondria which involves, which is very involved in the cellularenergy production. alpha crs is a blend of metabolic factors of cellular energylike to coenzyme q10 alpha-lipoic acid, and acetyl-l-carnitine.each of them, each of these help support efficient energy productionand help you live longer and feel
younger. xeomega. xeo mega is anessential oil omega complex. it's unique formula cptg is a label thatdoterra has actually created. it may mean it's an abbreviation of certified puretherapeutic grade oils involving the most aggressive training anddistillation and testing of essential oils in the world today. so, cptgformula of oils, and it's a proprietary blend of marine and land-based omegafatty acids. omega fatty acids help support, what, joints, cardiovascular, brainhealth, support healthy immune function.
a daily dose of xeo mega includes 300milligrams of epa, 300 milligrams of dha, 55 milligrams of other omega-3 fattyacids along with a potent blend of plant- sourced fatty acids. xeo mega alsoincludes 800 iu of natural vitamin d, natural vitamin e, a powerful blend ofhealthy carotenoids including a milligram of pure astaxanthin.what's an astaxanthin? a powerful antioxidant, it's a carotenoid harvestedfrom micro-algae. doterra only uses the best quality marine omega-3 top oilsfrom top norwegian manufacturers. every single batch is tested for over 250 contaminants,it's certified by "friend of the sea" prestigious organization in europe. finally, when taken with microplex and
with alphacrs+, xeo mega can improvethe absorption of fat soluble vitamins, further contributing to highbioavailability of nutrients in the lifelong vitality pack. microplex vmz well, earlier i said that in order to maintain healthy metabolism, our bodyneeds proper levels of vitamins and minerals. microplex is that. it's a foodnutrient complex with balanced formula of bioavailable vitamins andminerals that are deficient in our modern diets. they were severelydeficient in my model diet until i went through insane blood work several years agoand that's when i started realizing a
little bit more data on thecurrent state of my health, and that's part of the reason, maybe, why we startedpaying more attention to llv. microplex vmz includes a balanced blend ofantioxidants. it has the vitamins a, c, e, an energy complex of vitamin b. it is alsocontained in the formula: calcium, magnesium, zinc for optimal bone health, and the whole subject of our discussion today, healthy metabolism.it contains the tummy tamer blend inside, which is peppermint, gingerand caraway seed to calm the stomach if you are sensitive with some of the itemsthat are included in lifelong vitality, that tummy tamer will calm thesensation down with your upset stomach.
what sets microplex apart of othermultivitamins on the market is the fact that doterra focuses on the bioavailability of nutrients with microplex vmz. the body is actuallyable to process and use the nutrition, coming up at thesebioavailable nutrients. most of the minerals and vitamins that we aresupposed to intake should come from our food, but, when the food is not richof the vitamins and minerals that our bodies are actually capable ofprocessing, then, we end up storing this food, we're not actually using anynutrients out of it, and we are not feeding ourselves. many of the mineralsin microplex vmz have been
combined with amino acids and they create complexes known as chelated minerals, which additionally enhancesbioavailability. the chelated minerals are then balanced with each other as well, and other metals that are included in this are iron, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium, and chromium. when you take all these three together, lifelong vitality targets all major areas of metabolic need.it helps you feel best in the long term, which is what doterra feelsimportant for these supplements, when combined, in fact. essential tip: doterra recommends the lifelong vitality is used throughout the day, not just in asingle sitting. but, in general, the body
metabolizes the foods that we take andother things that we take into our bodies over a course of several hoursdaily. so, if we take all four of each of the products, which is what your daily intake with each individual lifelongvitality pack is. if you just take them at one time and the body is limitedto how much they can process at any given time. it's important that we dividethe dose throughout the day, so we can see the actual real expected result.so, the better way to go about this is to take two capsules in the morning, and a couple of capsules in the evening. another important thing, as you can notice fromthis slide, is that it helps to take it
with food. that's why the tummy tamerblend or as well we don't want to upset your stomach with taking all thesesupplements and, definitely, a better idea is to do it during eating your food. now, people have been speaking about their experience with lifelong vitality, and some items that i have included in this presentation are people that areactual associates of ours whose families are just like us on our own lifelong vitality. traci, nikola, and i (nikola, our son) have been taking llv now for...well, we started after my multiple sclerosis diagnosis, and i have now been
treating my multiple sclerosis withnothing else, but essential oils from doterra, and lifelong vitality, and several other products from doterra. so, is it risky i don't know, western medication is expensive.this is a proactive way of treating our aches before i have to go to the hospitalagain. carina simmons, she's one of our senior advocates and wellness advocate, and shesays that she experienced a very noticeable boost inenergy levels and no longer felt that dark cloud of gloominess, and thatlethargy hanging over her. it was such a noticeable difference, she says, thather husband said: "will you, please, order a box for me next time you order?"
peggy, miss peggy smith! i recognize the face. ms. peggy smith says that she noticed a significant increase in her mental focus and in energy levels after starting lifelongand she's sleeping much better now. cynthia crosby...finally, cynthia sayslifelong vitality has increased her energy and stamina to meet her dailychallenges. she felt that it has contributed significantly to improvingher immune system. she has been able to maintain healthy cholesterol levels andhas been pleased to discover that typical seasonal irritationshave decreased dramatically. these are just few examples to how many peoplefeel after they have started taking
lifelong vitality regularly. so, tofinish this, in conclusion, i'd like to thank you all for joining me. i'mso sorry that it took a lot longer than i told you i was planning on doing thisin 15-20 minutes. i don't even know why i ramble so much, but the bottomline is - i willbe able to speak, more in detail, with you in your native languages - languagesthat i speak. we've talked a little bit aboutmetabolism. this does not exhaust the subject in no way, but it gives you alittle bit more idea of how doterra
looks at it and what doterra feels that they can supplement in your restructuring and tight controlof your metabolism. it's not a static process, we've mentioned that it is something that continues to evolve. we've talked about the lifestyle factors that affect metabolism, including sleep, stress, exercise, diets, and we've talked a lotabout lifelong vitality which is important in addressing nutrition.adequate nutrition is really important. for improved lifestyle andimproved metabolism, lean on nutrients found in alpha crs, xeo mega, and microplex together. i appreciate you!
i am so happy that i was able to talk to you, and i have not seen some of you in, wow, two decades now that i have not lived inbulgaria! love you, love you so very much, and we hope to see you very, very soon.nikola wants to come to bulgaria, and he wants to go today :-) next time, we'll see traci in this video as well. i have a great, great night!!!
