today i'm going to build two compost bins for free i'm using this pallets for this. first i have to take the pallets apart. this is the wood from the pallets. i want it to be self-supporting it should be easy to change single boards. and it should be possible to open it from the front. that's what i came up with. the boards are cut to length.
then the slots are cut. to save some work i'm clamping a number of boards together. i'm doing repeated cuts to cut the slot. for the front i'm cutting diagonal slots with the jig saw. i'm building the posts from single parts glued together with construction adhesive.
i use wooden dowels for the front boards. first i'm making sure everything is level. i use a spirit level for this. that's how it looks like when it's finished. the front boards are easy to remove. and it's easy to reassemble everything. ok, lets the earthworms do their work. please like and subscribe. see you next time.
