hi this is annamoon i decided to do some other videos besides my rock painting tutorials. these will be uploaded in between, or as a tutorial instead of the rock paintings. but you can also paint all of my stuff on rocks. the painting ground is almost irrelevant with acrylic paints. today i show you my painting process for this ladybug. i paint this ladybug with watermixable oils in my sketchbook. in order to prevent bleeding through i covered the page with white gesso. for a shorter drying time of the paints i use medium l from schmincke.
i hope the sketchbook is dry in 2-3 days. i made some mistakes with this picture. i do not like the leaf on which the ladybug sits. the white is applied too thick. and the primer is not thick enough in some places. you never stop learning. now i will shut up and let you enjoy the video. see you next time. bye
