Bad App Design. A poorly executed mobile application design can cause an otherwise useful app to fail. The quality of Android apps has really increased in the past years.
Judging by their users' reactions, the answer to that is "No". They hold mountains of features dotted with microinteractions, oceans of data, and cities of users with their creations and contributions. Neither does the associated icon give any kind of indication to me as a user.
But holding ourselves and the design community to a higher standard of UX and UI design will only result in better product design.
The more iterations, the better your application will be.
