we need a cardstock, that measures 18 x 18 cm. if you want another size, you have to make sure, that the measurement is divisible by 3. the next smaller size would be 15 x 15cm and the next larger size would be 21 x 21cm. now we start scoring the paper. we score it within a distance of 6 cm. now we have two vertical and two horizontal scorelines. weâ´ve got a total of 9 squares and now weâ´re going to score diagonal scorelines at the 4 corners. iâ´m going to use my ruler and my dotting tool to score the lines.
now, weâ´re going to fold our scorelines. first, weâ´re going to fold the verticel and horizontal lines - so weâ´ll receive valley folds. then we are going to do mountain folds with the diagonal scores at the edges. then you have to cut out 10 squares, that measure 5,8 x 5,8cm. they have to be a little bit smaller than the squares on the cardstock, because you are going to glue them onto the cardstock. but first, iâ´m going to color the edges of the squares. now, we are going to glue the squares onto the cardstock - you can do this with different types of adhesive. iâ´m going to use sticky tape. next, we are going to fold the edges over and punch a hole in each corner.
at the end we are going to pull a ribbon through the holes. than you put your present into the basket, tie a knot and a bow. and then you are finished.
