i'm going to show you how to build a suncoastsolid teak gaeden bench. the first thing you want to do is unpack thebench, locate the instructions and following the guide on the instructions check that allthe content is there. if there is anything missing at this stage,contact a member of the sales team here at hayes garden world and they will arrange forany parts to be sent direct to you. the easiest way to build these benches isto take the cardboard top of the box, place it on the floor like so, take out one of thearms of the garden bench. again place it in the cardboard box like soand build the bench on it's side. take the other arm, you don't need that atthe moment, stand it to one side.
and then take the back part of the bench likeso, and slot it into the arm on the floor, pushing down firmly. and then, take out the seat base part of thebench, and slot it in like so. take the other arm of the bench, lift it overlike so, line it up, and tap it down like so. and then you're ready for screws. the next thing you want to do is take outone of the long bolts, slot it in like so, finger tighten it, and then tighten it upthe rest of the way using the allen key provided, like so.
repeat this on the other 2 holes on the bench,this one and this one. the next stage is to take one of the shorterscrews, on the underside of the bench, place it in this hole here. again finger tighten it first then take theallen key and tighten it all the way up. using the same screw again, again on the undersideof the bench, place one in that hole, one in that hole, and tighten up using the allenkey. the next stage is to take the seat base finial,put it into place like so and push into position, and then take 2 more of the screws, placeone in there like so, one in there like so. then take the allen key and tighten thesescrews up.
once you have tightened these 2 bolts intoplace, then turn the bench over, repeat the steps again on the other side until all thescrews are in place. once you have all the screws in place, liftthe bench down. and that is how you build a suncoast solidteak garden bench.
