hi, my name is gerald and i want towelcome you on behalf of room in a box. i am very happy to introduce our new cardboard beds to you. theyâ´re completely designed and manufactured in germany and contain at least 70 percent of recycled material. after use they can be fully recycled as well. the beds are available in the sizes s, m and l and several selected coulours. today i want to show you how the bed works and how you can use it. letâ´s have a look at it. as i said, the beds are available in the sizes s, m and l.
if you order a size l bed, you get two small sized beds. with every bed comes a connector piece, which you can use to link the small beds to one large bed. how this works, i will show you later. every small bed contains one assembled bed, one additional rhombus and the just mentioned connector piece. if you wanna change the size of the bed, you need the additional rhombus. almost all conceivable sizes can be assembled then. do you wanna use the bed in one of these sizes, there is nothing else to do.
the bed is already delivered in the right size. do you wanne use the bed in one of these sizes, you need to modify the bed into the right size. how this works, i will show you now. here we have an example. the bed is delivered with a length of 2m. now we want to extend the length to 2,20m. therefore we have to add the enclosed rhombus to your bed. the modification of the bed size in length and width, is always done by adding or removing rhombuses.
first we have to remove the head end of the bed. position yourself at that end where you can lift the corner parts. if youâ´re standing on the wrong side, just switch over to the other bed end. also helpful to know, we have numbered the different parts for you. the corner parts have the numbers 3 and 4. the middle part has number 2 and the rhombuses all over the bed are each labelled with number 1. so much for your support. now iâ´m going to remove the parts and tell you the labelled numbers. letâ´s start with the corner parts, number 3 and number 4.
first we remove part number 3. then we remove part number 4 andfinally part number 2. by the way, you can find the numbers engraved on the backside of each part. since we want to extend the length of the bed, we add one additional part. for that we take the included rhombus and insert it into the bed. once the rhombus is added, we can insert the head end of the bed again. first we take part number 2. then we continue with part number 3 and eventually insert part number 4.
all the information is also provided in the enclosed instruction manual. it is shown how many rhombuses you have to add or remove for the bed sizes s, m and l to either lengthen or widen,or to shorten or narrow. congratulations, thatâ´s all there is to do! the modification of all bed sizes works exactly as shown with this bed. you remove the head end, you add or remove the required amount of rhombuses and eventually add the head end again. if you want to change the size of the large bed,
you have to modify the length or width of both small beds seperately of course. now, i will finally show you how to connect two small beds into one big large bed. in every bed you purchase, there is next to the assembled bed one of the previously mentioned connector pieces what you have to do first: place the beds next to each other.both in the same direction where you can pull out the corner parts, like i can do now. in the next step you fold one of the connector pieces in an angel of 90 degrees
and insert it into the existing slots exactly between the two beds. now you can do the same on the other side of the bed. fold the connector piece and put in the right position between the beds. done! the beds are now connected to one large sized bed. hopefully everything was easy to understand! in case of further questions, please have a look at the manual and our faq. youâ´ll find information about the stability or about the "what to do" if the material gets wet. for question you wonâ´t find an answer to, please do not hesitate to contact us. write an email or give us a call. yeah, so now thereâ´s only one thing left to say: enjoy the bed and sleep tight!
