first, we are going to need a world map. i traced it, but you can also print out a map. and now, we are going to cut out the continents. next, we take our corkboard (0,5cm) and we put adhesive tape onto the back of the continent. make sure to use glue, which can be removed easily. then we glue the continent onto the corkboard, take our knife and cut along the edge. next, we are going to cut out cardboard to the size that we need.
then we lay our corkplates on the paper. and we can take the cut out paper, to see if the distances and the positions are correct. when everything is in place, we are going to mark the corners of our continents. then we put double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the corkboard and glue it onto the cardboard. when everything is glued, we take a picture frame and cut the cardboard to the necessary size. if you like, you can stick pins into the cork. and then it is done.
