first, draw equilateral triangle on cardboard. with a side length of 8 cm. cut it. cut a piece of decorative paper. fold it in a half. apply a glue on half of paper, but leave a middle part clean (without glue). fold paper in half again. redraw triangle on paper. the base of the triangle should stick to folded edge. cut triangles. i made 8 triangles in each color.
wind the end of yarn on a pencil. move it through hole. do the same with second and third color of triangle. continue. glue the edges of holes. as a result, the triangles do not move. and garland is done. you can use colored paper or wrapping paper instead of decorative paper. you can glue paper letters on triangles and create a text.
