i’m always looking for a stamp set thatcan be used for more than one occasion. i don’t mind spending money on stamp sets like that because i know i will use it over and over again. and it’s even more of a bonus if that same stamp set coordinates with one of our tools-- like a punch or an embossing folder. in the occasions (or spring/summer) catalog, we offer a stamp set that does all of that. happy celebrations was designed to be used for multiple occasions like birthdays, graduations, weddings, new babies, and more. in addition to all the great sentiments, thisset also includes design images so you can

make cards that look amazing but are very simple to create. here are few examples of how you can combine the sentiments with the images. with just a few colors of ink, i was ableto create all of these designs. this one i embossed first, then stamped the images over the top to create that effect. and this a 2-step stampin' set so you cancombine images from the set to create an even, more detailed look. for example, on these samples, i combined this image with this image. another product featured in the occasions (or spring/summer) catalog are the celebration duo textured impressions embossing folders.

these are amazing! they are a smaller size to allow for versatility and more exact placement. and they deboss to create a letterpress look. see how the images look like they have been pressed into the paper? these look great all on their own, but theywere designed to coordinate with the happy celebrations stamp set. remember these samples i showed you earlier? here are some finished projects i created where i pair them with the duo embossing folder. it just adds another layer of texture anddimension to these cards.

and because the embossing is so deep, you can actually stamp over the top of the image to create a look like this. let me show you how to do this. i have embossed "celebrate" on this piece of cardstock. then i’ll stamp the circles from the happycelebrations stamp set over the top of the image. see how the color does not go down into the embossed image? i just love the look of this card. on the happy image something really cool happens when you do this same thing. because it has this raised portion too, when you stamp over the top of this, the ink adheres

to the raised portion and around the image but it doesn't go into the debossed area. here’s what it looks like on a finishedcard. and just so you can see how dramatic the difference is, here’s what it looks like when i just used stamps and ink. it’s the same card--i just added theembossing step before i stamped the images. you are going to want both the happy celebrations stamp set and the celebrations duotextured impressions embossing folder. contact your demonstrator to order both of them or order online at stampinup.com. happy stamping!
