ok today a new video again from installation of an ikea lamp - this time model: sã–dersvik - i hope i pronounce it right... have fun. this is the new lamp and to get this cover off you have this piece right here you have to lift this up and turn it in this direction this is the lamp without cover - here you have to connect the cables - this one you have to put onto the ceiling and before you have to make a hole into the middle with a screwdriver or something like - to put the cable trough, later before installation of the new lamp, get the old one off - turn the electrical fuse off, before and we take it off in higher speed, we just cut the cable off then we take the cover and as mentioned we make a hole with the screwdriver hole is for the cable
then we bent the cable as we need look that this side is down - put the cable through and move it to the point, where it should stay in the end look before, because the lampcable is behind the wall that you don't screw trough the cable in the end eventually you have to drill the holes before we don't have to, its just loam and wood in our case we drill the screws directly - makes it a lot easyier last time we did it with a knife, this time we use "the banana"
its called like that in germany from electricans to use it just surround the cable and turn free it from the rest and the cables are free - now we shorten them "the banana" is also usefull to get the ends from the cable off you can also do it with a cutter, but it needs some practice the green-yellow cable is secured with a "lã¼sterklemme" (in german) you have this two arrows, where you have seen at the beginning how to remove the cover and you have to orientate at this one
because this piece have to fix in there now we connect the cables brown to brown - and - blue to blue ok this was the job - you don't have to put a light bulb in there because everything is with led we just test it shortly (give it a thumbs up!) works (and please subscribe) really nice
