you need thread or wool in various colours. i decided for pink and purple for lotta and for blue and yellow for me. in addition, you need a couple of buttons, charms lockets, scissors and tape. “let’s get it started.†first, we take the thread. i decided for pink and purple. we measure minimum one meter to one meter and ten centimeters. then, take your strand and fold it once to the middle so that a slipknot is generated. take the slipknot on the upper end and knot it. we stick it onto our work space and begin with knotting. take a thread of your choice. i begin with pink. pull the thread out and lay it over the other threads so that a semi-circle is produced. then push the end of the thread through the circle. then push the resulting knot up and set it tight.
repeat this step about five or six times with the same colour. if this went too fast for you, i’ll show it to you again with the next colour. we take another colour. in my case, it is purple. we repeat the same steps, we did with the pink thread. we repeat these steps alternately with all threads until we reach the desired length. when the desired length is reached, we make a knot. then we cut the threads except two of them. in the other two threads, we thread a button. afterwards, we knot up the button with the two remaining threads and cut the ends. f you want to embellish your friendship bracelets, you can thread a charm locket at the end as i did right now. since lotta and i are pretty best friends, i have chosen a “best friendsâ€-charm. beautiful, isn’t it?
